SHRIISSTHY INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL SERVICES was founded in 2005 as a full service Insurance agency created to provide value, transparency and accountability to the Indian insurance investor. In an emerging market like India, there is low financial literacy, lack of awareness and understanding of the benefits of Insurance as a risk mitigation and investment tool. With this in view, we lay great emphasis on educating and guiding a new investor. Our approach is collaborative, partnering with and advising our clients to build confidence in their own purchase decisions. We also provide a full range of insurance services, ranging from life and non-life, assisting both corporate and individual clients.

Started by Shefale Patra ( My Mother ) Being a Marine Engineer’s wife over the past 30 years, her personal experiences naturally led me to focus on the Shipping Industry – Seafarers, Shipping Companies and Institutes. The company has a strong understanding of the industry and its workings, and we aim to bring about significant changes to improve the processes and introduce customised insurance solutions to the seafarers, their families and the shipping industry at large.

In over 15 years being in the industry, having covered over 50,000 seafarers, over 15 leading global shipping companies and training centres, we have established a credibility for working hard to ensure that the clients get what they deserve. We have serviced clients across India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan & The Netherlands.
